Shipping Policy

This shipping policy is part of our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and therefore should be read alongside the main Terms.

Shed Essentials offers free ground shipping to the United States excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. 

Any delivery questions or issues (remote areas, long driveways, large and low-hanging trees, apartment complex, stairs, etc.) should be addressed with us prior to shipping your order. If the freight company is unable to deliver the order due to issues with accessing the customers’ property, we may need to use a 3rd party to deliver the order which may result in additional charges.

Order Confirmation

After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email with your order number and details. This email indicates that we have received your order and pre-authorized your credit card. We will forward your order to our fulfillment team for processing, packaging, and shipping.

Shipping Times and Tracking

Most orders are processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. We currently do not ship to APO or POB addresses. Actual shipping time is contingent upon the availability of merchandise and payment verification. One of our team members will contact you with any exceptions. If you have not received tracking information for your shipment within 5 business days, please email info@shedessentials.com. Once your order has been processed, and inventory has been confirmed, your order will be sent to our supplier’s warehouse and a tracking number will be issued. Our system will send tracking details to the email address used when the order was placed.

Receiving and Inspecting Freight Shipments

We trust that your order arrives safely and meets your expectations. Upon receipt, kindly inspect the package(s) to ensure no damage occurred during shipping. Please adhere to the inspection guidelines below.

Inspect the box for external damage, remove the packaging, and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is any damage, visible or not, you must indicate such on the delivery receipt. When you sign the delivery ticket and do not note any damage, the merchandise becomes your property. Customers must call or email our customer service department within 24 hours of receipt to report any missing items or delivery damage.

If damages are visible, then take photos or make a video recording of the exterior packaging (all sides/boxes) and show any damage to the merchandise and packaging. Note damage on the Bill of Lading, and keep a copy of the Bill of Lading for your records. Ask the driver to mark the Bill of Lading as damaged.

Check for concealed damage by opening the packaging to look for damage that could have occurred inside the packaging but left the packaging intact. (This must be reported to our customer service team within 24 hours of signing the bill of lading).

Shipping Options

Our base "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is usually completely free! There are other options available for some products. Contact us for more information about these before ordering.

Threshold Shipping: Threshold Shipping involves the item being brought onto your porch, or into a sheltered/garage area.

White Glove Delivery: White Glove Delivery includes the item being brought into your room of choice, any minor assembly, and all boxes and packaging removed from your house!
